The Versys 650 is built around genuine versatility — a comfortable, upright riding position and real touring range from a 21L tank mean it's just as happy covering serious distance as it is handling the daily commute, and it's LAMS approved, so that versatility is available from day one on a learner licence. A torquey 649cc parallel-twin and full TFT connectivity round it out as a bike that doesn't ask riders to wait until their licence opens up to get something genuinely capable.

Engineered for optimal response in everyday riding conditions, the exciting 649cc Parallel Twin engine delivers a smooth, linear response, robust low-to-mid range torque, and impressive fuel efficiency.

Not all streets are smooth—some have bumps and potholes. While the Versys 650 isn't meant for off-road, its long-travel suspension and 17” wheels manage various street conditions and support sporty riding. This suspension enhances controllability by aiding weight transfer, improving the overall experience.

A slim, upright position and wide handlebars offer a naturally relaxed posture and high controllability.

Kawasaki's advanced traction control system enhances performance and confidence on low-traction surfaces. Two modes let riders adjust settings to match their preferences and conditions.

The compact 4.3” all-digital TFT colour instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance. The meter also offers additional features unavailable on the previous model, including smartphone connectivity.

The windshield adjusts approximately 80 mm with four positions at 27 mm intervals, easily accessible from the rider's seat. An accessory large windshield, 100 mm taller, provides excellent wind protection.

Complementing the accessory DC outlet, an accessory USB outlet features dual covers for high water resistance. Both power sources can be built into the cockpit’s inner cover, where they would be ideally positioned for charging accessories or personal items

A 210 kg payload is plenty for carrying a passenger and luggage. The Versys 650 is able to accommodate both a top case and panniers simultaneously. Accessory panniers (28 litres, 5 kg max each) can each hold a full-face helmet.

Inspired by the Versys 1000, the refreshed design of the upper cowl and surrounding bodywork gives the Versys 650 the latest Versys family “face,” and conveys a strong Kawasaki identity.

Complementing its LED taillight, LED headlights add symmetry to the Versys 650’s “face.” LED turn signals add a modern touch, contributing to the bike’s good looks.
