The aggressive sugomi-inspired Z design is brought to life through sculpted bodywork. All unnecessary flourishes have been removed to boldly highlight the brutal functionality. The 1,043 cc In-Line Four engine and rigid chassis create a stiffer, more direct ride, transforming the Z1000 into the market's most radical Supernaked.

The Z1000 features a 1,043 cc In-Line Four engine with strong power and torque. The engine tuning emphasizes the rider's experience with a strong torque feeling, mid-range hit, and direct throttle response. The intake's sound is crafted for aural enjoyment during acceleration.
Race-inspired clutch technology provides both a back-torque limiting function and a light feel on the lever.
The optimal riding position is forward-canted with the rear raised, resulting in an aggressive posture. The aggressive position complements the bike's direct throttle response and handling, allowing riders to fully utilise the Z1000's sporty street riding potential.
The Z1000's direct handling is due to its advanced front suspension, combining Showa's SFF and BPF concepts. It offers comfort and sport potential for street riding, with smooth action and excellent composure under braking.
The Z1000 features advanced brakes with triple petal discs, radial-mount monobloc calipers, and a radial-pump master cylinder for strong stopping power.
The Z1000's sugomi design builds on the mass-forward crouching concept of the previous model. The headlamp cowl is positioned low, creating the image of a crouching predator. The bodywork fits closely to the engine and frame, concentrating mass at the front for a dynamic form.
The Z1000's sugomi design is most apparent in its face, with a low-positioned headlamp unit giving the impression of being glared at by a predator. Frown lines above the headlamps and reflector-less LED units enhance the fierce visage.
Sugomi is a Japanese term for the powerful presence exuded by a person or object of greatness. The Z1000 embodies sugomi with its intense design and impressive performance, commanding respect and awe.
