Flexible Trail Performance with D3O® Protection

The Merlin Berea Trail D3O® gloves are designed for riders seeking a balance of flexibility and protection on adventure or trail rides. Merlin combines a durable goat leather knuckle overlay with a 2-way stretch spandex topside to ensure maximum mobility during technical manoeuvres. These spring and summer-ready gloves provide excellent tactile feedback through a soft micro suede palm while maintaining high safety standards with integrated D3O® impact technology.

Key Features

• D3O® Knuckle Protection: Features a solid knuckle shield with a leather overlay and underlying D3O® sheet protection for superior impact absorption.
• Stretch Spandex Topside: Constructed with 2-way stretch spandex to provide maximum flexibility and comfort across the fingers, wrist, and thumb.
• Micro Suede Palm: Utilises a soft and supple micro suede palm for a close-to-skin fit and improved feel of the motorcycle controls.
• Scaphoid Protection: Includes D3O® foam scaphoid protection to enhance rider safety in key impact zones.
• Touchscreen Compatibility: Integrated conductive digital touch panels on the index finger and thumb tip allow for easy device operation without removing gloves.
• Pre-Curved Fingers: Anatomically pre-curved finger construction reduces rider fatigue and improves grip comfort over long distances.
• Short Summer Cuff: Designed with a webbed cuff puller and a secure Velcro® strap closure for a streamlined, easy-to-fit profile.
• 3M Safety Reflective: Enhanced visibility in low-light conditions through strategically placed 3M reflective elements.

Comfort and Manoeuvrability

The Berea Trail glove is engineered for the active movements required in off-road and adventure touring. Accordion stretch panels and polyester corduroy fourchettes work in tandem with the 2-way stretch textile to ensure the glove moves with the hand, preventing binding during technical riding. This focus on ergonomics is paired with a non-waterproof, breathable construction that makes it an ideal choice for warm-weather commutes and trail expeditions where airflow and tactile feedback are essential.
